ABOUT US

“To promote and provide high quality, readily accessible healthcare in a patient-centered system of care for those we serve.”

Welcome to Umpqua Health. We work hard to deliver readily accessible, high quality healthcare for Douglas County residents and to improve the health and vitality of the communities we serve. We bring together local providers and community partners to find innovative solutions to delivering better healthcare for patients, creating healthier communities, and finding ways to lower costs.

Umpqua Health is deeply rooted in Douglas County. We are proud to call the Umpqua Valley our home. Our integrated network of skilled local providers delivers high quality healthcare for Douglas County residents. Umpqua Health also works closely with community partners to evaluate ongoing healthcare needs and issues, while collaborating on local solutions.

Our subsidiary, the Umpqua Health Alliance (UHA), is one of 16 coordinated care organizations (CCOs) in Oregon that has served members of the Oregon Health Plan since 2012. UHA connects more than 40,000 Douglas County OHP members to physical, behavioral, oral, and dental care through an integrated network of providers. UHA is managed through a locally-based board of directors and Community Advisory Council that ensures local healthcare needs are fully met.

Umpqua Health also operates a clinic Umpqua Health – Newton Creek, in Douglas County that offers expert pediatric and adult primary care, urgent care, and behavioral health services. All major insurance is accepted, in addition to Medicare and OHP.

Our core values of Accessibility, Compassion, Professionalism, Trust, and Community are central to all we do for those we serve.
