Umpqua Health Consolidates Clinics

 In General

At Umpqua Health, we know that navigating the care system can be confusing. Trying to balance your family’s calendar can be a full-time job, but when you add on things like different appointments with different providers at different locations, trying to access care can become overwhelming.

At Umpqua Health, we want to make it as easy as possible for our patients to get the care they need when they need it. That’s why we’ve decided to combine our clinics, to bring all of Umpqua Health’s clinical services into one building.

The Umpqua Health – Harvard clinic will be transitioned to Umpqua Health – Newton Creek by August 23.

“The vision is to make it easier for people in Douglas County to access the care they need when they need it,” says Brent Eichman, Umpqua Health CEO. “This move is the next step in realizing that vision.”

By consolidating the clinics, all of Umpqua Health’s clinical services will be under one roof, which Eichman believes will help patients better navigate their care, leading to an increase in patient empowerment.

“We believe this will be a positive move for our patients,” says Chief Clinical Officer Dr. Layne Jorgensen, DO. “Whether our patients need to access primary care, pediatrics, behavioral health or urgent care services, they’ll be able to come to one location.”
