Let Care Coordination Help

UHA Care Coordination can help you find care. They can also connect your family with other services.

What Happens When You Call a Clinic

Calling a clinic for the first time can feel like a lot. Here is what to expect.

Have this ready: your child’s name and date of birth; your Umpqua Health member ID number; a short note about what you are worried about.

Good questions to ask: Are you taking new patients right now? Do you see children my child’s age? How long is the wait for a first visit? Do I need a referral from my child’s doctor?

If the wait is long, you still have options. Ask to be put on a waiting list. Then call us at 541-229-4842. We can look for other clinics and help you find care while you wait.

Words You May See

Social and emotional health is how a child handles feelings. It is how they make friends and get through hard days.

Substance use disorder is a health problem. It makes it hard to stop using drugs or alcohol, even when they cause harm.
