- Trauma Informed Oregon has created several free self-directed online training modules on the foundations of a trauma informed approach:
- National CLAS Standards: This e-learning program is grounded in the HHS Office of Minority Health’s National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services in Health and Health Care. CME Available
- Advance Care Planning Course: The CDC provides information about helping patients plan and document what should be done in the event they become seriously ill or lose decision-making capacity. CME Available
- Tobacco cessation counseling training from the Oregon Health Authority. CME Available

- SAMHSA’s Trauma informed Care in Behavioral Health Services
- SAMHSA’s Concept of Trauma and Guidance for a Trauma-Informed Approach
- Trauma Informed Approach training
- This training series provides an overview of what trauma is and how it affects people. You will learn types, examples and levels of trauma. You will learn how a trauma informed approach can be implemented in a variety of settings including forensic hospitals, correctional settings, and within law enforcement. The training addresses how trauma affects professionals working in these settings, and includes information to help leaders and supervisors effectively implement trauma informed approaches within their organizations.
